After they cut through a whole lot of things that weren’t wood with the new Milwaukee Ax with Carbide Teeth, Milwaukee challenged us to see what we could cut. We asked for some suggestions from our audience and you responded. Here’s some of the coolest, craziest, and silliest things we came up with.

Cut that bench vise and I’ll be impressed!

Looks like a good blade for sure. It seems that putting carbide tips on a metal blade is a fairly expensive and specialised procedure. At $11 the blade seems like a bargain. But WHY are multi-tool blades, that have NO carbide, have maybe 1/4 the material twice or 3 times the cost of the carbide shown? While I am going to pick up a couple of the Milwaukee carbide blades, I look forward to the time when multi-tool blade prices drop down to something a bit more realistic.
