With the softball season coming to an end for our area teams let’s take a look at some of the stats and our area stat leaders as individuals and as a team.
Starting off with the team statistics at the plate, Ridge View and River Valley took first or second in almost every category with other team’s chiming in.
Batting Average: Ridge View .395, River Valley .325, Alta-Aurelia .317
Slugging Percentage: Ridge View 0.562, River Valley, 0.428, Alta-Aurelia 0.426

In the field and on the mound River Valley, Ridge View headlined the show again while MMCRU and South O’Brien performed well too.

For the individual stats let’s start off with the Braves. Senior Dena Claycamp led the team at the plate with a .394 batting average while sophomore Maddy Courtright hit a .318 and junior Peyton Kohn had a .250. Claycamp also led in slugging percentage at 0.758, Courtright had a 0.455 and Kohn had 0.375. Claycamp scored the most runs for her team with 20 while sophomore Megan Courtight found home 17 times and eighth grader Kalexis Hyndman made it home 10 times. Claycamp had 26 hits, Maddy Courtright had 21 and sophomore Parrissa Barnes had 15. Claycamp and Maddy Courtright led in singles with 14 apiece while Barnes, Megan Courtright and sophomore Carly Fuhrman had 11 each. Maddy Courtright hit the most doubles with six while Claycamp drilled five and Kohn hit four. Claycamp hit two triples while Kohn and Barnes hit one each while Claycamp also nailed five home runs while Maddy Courtright hit one. Claycamp had 16 RBIs for her team while Maddy Courtright had 14 and Kohn had 10. Furhman drew the most walks with 12 while Barnes was hit by two pitches to top the team. Fuhrman and freshman Olivia Fox tied for the most stolen bases with nine each while Megan Courtright had eight.

In the field, freshman Addison James led in fielding percentage with a .933 while Fuhrman had a .909 and Barnes had .841. Furhman led her team and the entire area in runners thrown out stealing with 12. Maddy Courtright led the team in every pitching category as she had 102 strikeouts, a 6.23 ERA and a 2.06 WHIP.

Junior Shea Peterson had a .473 batting average to lead her team while sophomore Maddie Bloom and junior Brielle Engelmann hit a .375 each. Peterson also led in slugging percentage with a 0.648 while senior Alli Magnussen hit a 0.526 and Engelmann had a 0.523. Peterson scored 35 runs for her team while Engelmann followed with 25 and freshman Nora Peterson had 21. Shea Peterson tied for the most hits in the area and topped her team with 43 while Engelmann had 33 and Magnussen had 27. Shea Peterson hit 30 singles, Engelmann hit 23 and senior Angela Lopez hit 21. Peterson led in doubles as well with 11 while Engelmann hit seven and Magnussen and senior Jenna Nielsen drilled five each. Engelmann led in doubles with three while Lopez led in home runs with three and Magnussen and Nielsen hit two each. Shea Peterson stole 16 bases to top the team while Engelmann stole 11 and Lopez took nine.
In the field, Lopez had a fielding percentage of .981 while Magnussen had a .951 and Shea Peterson had a .965. Magnussen threw out 10 runners trying to steal on her. In the circle Shea Peterson led in every category as she struck out 60, had a 5.01 ERA and allowed 1.37 WHIP. Bloom also followed in strikeouts with 34 while Nielsen had five.
The Raptors were ranked in Class 2A throughout the season and had individuals lead the area in multiple categories this season. Senior Emma Vohs led the area in batting average with a .500 while senior Addison Schmidt hit a .462 and senior Abby Wandrey had a .398. Vohs also had a slugging percentage of 1.049 to lead the team and the area while Schmidt hit a 0.791 and sophomore Tatum Shepherd had a 0.684. Vohs scored the most runs in the area with 40 while sophomore Shea Dutler found home for the team 26 times and Shepherd had 25 runs. Schmidt led the team in hits with 42 while Vohs had 41 and Wandrey had 39. Wandrey led the area in singles with 33 while Schmidt and senior Katie Pickhinke hit 24 singles each. Schmidt had 12 doubles to lead her team and the area while Vohs had 10 and Shepherd had eight. Wandrey hit three doubles while Vohs and Pickhinke had one each. Vohs led the area in home runs, drilling 11 round trips this season, while Shepherd hit seven and Schmidt nailed six. Schmidt led the area in RBIs while 43 while Vohs had 37 and Wandrey sent 28 home. Vohs had 16 walks this season while Shepherd was hit by five pitches. Dutler went 15-for-15 on stolen bases to lead her team while Wandrey had 13 and freshman Gabi Mason had 12.
In the field, Dutler had a .980 fielding percentage to lead her team while Pickhinke had a .973 and Shepherd had a .957. Shepherd also threw out seven runners attempting to steal. Schmidt led in every pitching category with 64 while also having a 2.68 ERA and a 1.42 WHIP. She led the area with her record of 15-5. Shepherd also had 60 strikeouts for the team, had a 3.91 ERA and allowed 1.59 WHIP.
Senior Taylor Harpenau led the team at the plate with a batting average of .481 while junior Isabell Olson had a .393 and senior Emily Dreckman had a .371. Harpenau also had a 0.670 slugging percentage to top the team while Dreckman and senior Mya Holmes had a 0.483. Harpenau scored 34 runs for the team while freshman Breanna Staab had 31 and Olson had 29. Harpenau led in hits with 38 while Olson and Dreckman had 33 each. Olson hit 28 singles to lead the team while Dreckman had 27 and Harpenau had 23. Harpenau led in doubles with 10 while Holmes hit seven and Olson drilled five. Dreckman hit four triples while Harpenau hit two and Staab nailed one. Harpenau and Holmes tied for the top of the team in home runs with three each. Staab went 11-for-11 on stolen bases while Dreckman and Olson went 10-for-10 each.
Olson led the team in fielding percentage with a .977 while Holmes had a .961 and Harpenau had a .926. Harpenau also threw out three baserunners. Olson led the team in strikeouts with 87 while sophomore Kaleigh Gravenish had 14. Gravenish had a 2.75 ERA while Olson had a 2.79 and Olson led the entire area with a 1.40 WHIP while Gravenish had a 1.87.
For the Wolverines, senior Abby Schreck had a .395 batting average to lead the team while senior Grace Fuhrman had a .368 and sophomore Marissa Ebel had a .333. Furhman led in slugging percentage with a 0.566 while Schreck had a 0.539 and senior Annika Jenness hit a 0.507. Junior Karlee Warnke and Payton Farquhar scored the most runs for the team with 23 each while Jenness and Ebel scored 20 each. Schreck had 30 hits to lead her team while Fuhrman had 28 and Jenness had 24. Schreck hit 21 singles while Warnke hit 18 and Furhman had 17. Furhman led in doubles with nine while Schreck drilled seven and senior Kenna Bauer had six. Schreck led in triples with two while Jenness and Furhman hit two home runs each. Fuhrman had 21 RBIs while Jenness had 19 and Schreck sent 17 home. Bauer drew the most walks with 15 while junior Maddie Johnson was hit by three pitches. Warnke went 19-for-19 on stolen bases to lead the team while Jenness had 13 and Schrek had nine.
In the field, Johnson had a .954 fielding percentage to lead the team while Schreck had a .914 and Bauer had a .852. Schreck threw out three runners trying to steal on her. Fuhrman led in the pitching categories with 115 strikeouts, a 3.82 ERA and a 1.54 WHIP. Bauer had 13 strikeouts while sophomore Brooklyn Edwards had five.
At the plate for River Valley, Junior Maddie Thomas had a .473 batting average to lead the team while senior Leslie Hamman had a .404 and sophomore Nativity Edwards had a .404. Thomas led in slugging percentage with a 0.835 while Hamman had a 0.606 and freshman Alaina Goettsch had a 0.440. Thomas scored 40 runs for her team while Goettsch had 25 and freshman Myah Dausel scored 23. Thomas tied the top of the area in hits with 43 while Hamman hit 40 and Dausel had 32. Hamman and Dausel hit 29 singles each to top the team while Thomas hit 27. Junior Klaudia Pry hit six doubles while Thomas and sophomore Izzy Dees hit five each. Hamman led the area in triples with seven while Thomas hit five and Deeds drilled two. Thomas hit six home runs for while Hamman and Pry drilled one each. Thomas also led in RBIs with 37 while Pry had 27 and Hamman sent 26 home. Junior Addisyn Goettsch drew the most walks in the area with 19 while Thomas was hit by nine pitches to top the area. Eighth grader Natalie Schlenger stole 24 bases to lead her team and the area while Alaina Goettsch had 21 and Thomas went 20-for-20.
In the field, Deeds led the area in fielding percentage with a .982, Addisyn Goettsch had a .908 and Alaina Goettsch had a .933. Deeds also threw out eight runners attempting to steal. Pry had the most strikeouts in the area with 128 while Dausel led the area in ERA with a 2.66. Dausel struck out 18 and allowed 1.76 WHIP while Pry had a 5.03 ERA and allowed 1.83 WHIP.
