Barren County High School recognized for rigorous S.T.E.M. courses - WNKY News 40 Television

GLASGOW, Ky. – For the third year in a row, Barren County High School received a huge recognition – an honor that less than 200 high schools across the U.S. achieve.

Project Lead the Way recognized Barren County High School as one of their distinguished schools for the 2021 through 2022 school year. 

The program awards high schools who increase student engagement and achievement through their project programs like their science and engineering courses. 

Over through Project Lead the Way biomedical science, computer science and engineering courses. 

Assistant Principal & Biomedical Director Robert Bauer said, “It shows that you are committed to the advancement in K-12 of all of the students having a rigorous education to promote the Sciences both in biomedical and engineering.”

Currently, the high school has a 95 percent graduation rate.
